CORPORATE RECRUITER - NORTH AMERICAN BANCARD

Troy, MI

We need an experienced Corporate Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition Team. 

As a recruiter, you know the job, but is it the right fit for you?

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Corporate Recruiter will play a key role in sourcing, assessing and delivering critical talent across a number of business units, including IT, Customer Service, Finance, Risk, Marketing and others.

What else you will be doing:

  • Create and maintain recruitment strategies for a variety of business units, by developing a deep knowledge of the business and the competitive landscape.
  • Reviews applications, screens and interviews candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
  • Partners with hiring managers and human resources to develop competitive, marketable job postings that reflect the depth of career opportunities with North American Bancard.
  • Guides hiring managers through talent acquisition processes by maintaining ongoing, proactive communications regarding status of open positions/candidates.
  • Provides market and competitive intelligence.
  • Proactively identifies candidate sources in order to build applicant pipelines through a variety of channels.
  • Obtains background and reference checks, consulting with the Talent Acquisition Manager regarding questionable results.
  • Prepares and maintains job postings and applicant data via the applicant tracking system.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing and hiring approvals are obtained
  • Works with Talent Acquisition Team in organizing career fairs, campus recruiting, public job fair events and internship programs.
  • Works with HR and Business Unit Leaders to ensure employment offers are appropriate based upon internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Supports NAB entities based in other locations.

 

Job Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree and recent, relevant experience in a corporate or agency recruiting environment.
  • Minimum 3 years’ full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles of all levels and types.
  • Experience executing recruitment strategies for a variety of functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include proficiency with MS Word, & Excel.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Occasional evening availability required for career fairs and recruiting events.

 

How to be an all star:

  • Strong and varied IT recruiting experience.
  • Experience with AAP/EEO compliance.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
