The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for controlling the safety and security within the NAB property while aiding in the overall maintenance of the facility. 

Additionally, the Facilities Coordinator will assess and consider the daily

1) safety of our employees,

2) the security of our assets, and

3) the service to our team members. 

This individual will report to the Director of Facilities Operations (DFO) and coordinate facility initiatives with building management and outside contractors or vendors for various services.


What else you will be doing:

  • Maintains, updates, and implements the plans for fire evacuation and disaster response in accordance with the organization’s Emergency Management Plan.
  • Oversees the physical security detail while coordinating emergency response efforts with local first respondent entities. In addition, this individual will monitor video surveillance ensuring all staff and visitors follow protocols.
  • Implements and ensures OSHA standards and best practices are being adhered.
  • Works in tandem with building management and assists with maintaining building issues, Work Orders, team relocations, and immediately responds to building emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
  • Coordinates efforts for the Director of Facilities Operations for all size projects including large scale repairs and construction projects.
  • Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to the specifications set forth by the DFO.
  • Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the DFO.

Job Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Associates Degree, certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience related to maintenance and/or facilities
  • Minimum 2-3 year experience in a facilities environment.
  • Basic knowledge of facilities related matters.
  • Minimum 2 year experience implementing security and building safety protocols, fire safety programs, conducting weather and safety drills, and implementing building evacuation procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors and vendors.
  • Ability to navigate through a video surveillance system with up to 60 cameras. Experience overseeing a physical security detail is necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks, provide deliverables in support of project plans, and demonstrate problem solving skills related to building issues all in accordance with the standards set forth by the DFO.


How to be an All Star:

  • Experience overseeing a physical security detail is preferred.
  • Instructor certification in First Aid/CPR/AED from ARC, AHA or other accredited organization.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED



Working Conditions:

Working environment is generally favorable.  Position requires the ability to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time.  Individual will periodically work off a 20ft ladder, lift objects up to 100 pounds, and be exposed to mechanical environments.
