FINANCIAL ANALYST, ASSOCIATE - POINT & PAY

Oldsmar, FL

Under general supervision, responsible for all billing, client residuals calculations, assisting with reporting and providing finance-related client and customer support.

What else you will be doing:

  • Calculate monthly fees, create billing invoices, and communicate to customers.
  • Balance, process, report, and communicate returned checks on a daily basis.
  • Calculate partner revenue share, create statements, and communicate to clients.
  • Assist in creating miscellaneous financial related reports and analytics.
  • Research and respond to all finance related client inquiries.
  • Balance monthly Paydici general ledger (GL).
  • Balance, process, report, and communicate chargebacks.
  • Manage daily ACH rejects and other payment exceptions.
  • Monitor daily settlement activities and enforce appropriate controls to ensure all activities are accurate.
  • Maintain documentation for audit purposes.
  • Communicate with Client Services team regarding discrepancies, and settlement updates.
  • Review requested account closures for EFT / Administrative account fees and document potential adjustments.
  • Audit chargebacks, confirm funds and communicate with Client Services team the appropriate account.
  • Communicate with external vendors responsible for wires and/or checks to clients, collections issues, and general accounting issues.
  • Audit invoices for AP.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects in support of the department as assigned.

Job Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year performing data analysis and research.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in an accounting/finance environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic statistics and math and finance knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • Detailed oriented, highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

How to be an AllStar:

  • CPA license.
