HOSPITALITY SALES CONSULTANT--Remote position--US

Preferred locations in US:  Chicago, Florida, New Orleans, TX (Austin, San Antonio), Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego 

Job Summary:
The focus of the Hospitality Consultant is to sell CDI Tech products and services to businesses in the hospitality industry with a territory for CDI Tech. The ideal candidate must have proven sales success in the POS industry and is aggressive in closing new sales opportunities.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Selling CDI Tech products and services to hospitality merchants in an assigned territory
  • A strong focus on understanding customer needs in order to propose the right product set
  • Generate new business through networking within a specific territory
  • Perform product demonstrations on all available products
  • Responsible for recommending total solution to customers with knowledge of third party interfaces related to retail software, back office inventory software, property management software and wireless infrastructures
  • Stay current on the latest technology through CDI Tech training
  • Set personal goals; Meet and exceed quotas as set by management
  • Establish customer expectations properly to ensure project success
  • Select 5 “Key accounts” to provide account management responsibilities and account protection to ensure their retention and growth

 

 

Job Requirements

 

Here is what we need from you: 

  • Some college coursework completed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience in the restaurant industry preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience required
  • Ability to maintain solid referral relationships with existing customers
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Knowledge of all MS Office products for creating proposals and sales contracts;
  • Timely and accurate preparation of paperwork
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available to work overtime, in the evening, on weekends, and on holidays as business requires 

 What makes you stand out:

  • Knowledge of hospitality point of sale solutions preferred
  • MICROS Sales experience preferred
  • Understanding of the technology needs in the hospitality industry preferred

License and Certification Requirements: Valid driver’s license
